🔥 A Couple Of Factory Pics During Production
over 1 year ago – Thu, Dec 08, 2022 at 04:10:36 AM

G'day Tribe,

All is going great and still on track to begin shipping early.

With everything approved some time ago, my factory is deep into production.

This can still be a lengthy process, so while we wait for production to finish, I thought I'd share a couple of pics the factory has shared with me in some of our back-and-forth emails.

A look into the process

My factory usually shoot through questions about tricky components and send through pics for approval, to help understand the way something should look.

Here's the dice choice selected for the upgraded 'swirl' stretch goal that will give the dice a more 'firey' look!

They'll then go ahead and print the sides with the fire dice numbers, which will look like the below:

Next up is the first player token, which was upgraded to a 3D interlocking little fire, as another stretch goal. Here's what it'll look like before Thonk finishes his firey paint job on it.

Here's the art that'll go onto it, which will be printed onto card and then die cut along the pink lines:

I can't wait for it to all come together into a final product.

I hope you've enjoyed a small insight into a couple of the components as we play the waiting game on production!

We're well ahead of schedule as usual and on track to beat our Feb shipping date.

As soon as production completes, we begin shipping straight to your door.

I'll let you know when we're there on the next update, and thanks again for being a backer!

Yours in all things prehistoric,

Sam

Production Begins!
over 1 year ago – Tue, Nov 08, 2022 at 02:22:26 AM

G'day Tribe!

More exciting news today as all the files have been given the tick of approval with some minor tweaks and we officially enter production!

Now we can sit back and wait for my factory to make the magic happen, which usually takes about 30-40 days.

That puts us at roughly mid December to finish production, and then with 1-2 weeks for my shipping partner to prepare for shipment, they'll begin their journey to backers in January!

Nice and earlier than planned once again :)

If you'd like to follow along with future campaigns you can do so here

Future update milestones:

  • When we come out of production (Mid Decemberish)
  • When we begin shipping (January)
  • When we complete shipping (Jan-Feb)

Thanks for being lovely backers, and I can't wait to send these out!

Yours in all things B.C,

Sam

Print Files Complete, One More Step Until Production!
over 1 year ago – Wed, Oct 26, 2022 at 08:11:11 PM

G'day Tribe,

Great news! I've now got all the print files finalized and ready to go!

There's a whole lot of work that goes into this, and it feels great to have it completed!

A number of backers have left awesome feedback on the rulebook too, which I've now implemented - thank you so much for casting a keen eye over it!

I'll now shoot over the final artwork to Dustin for approval, to make sure he's happy with this version of the files, and from there... straight to production!

Once in production, this process usually takes between 30-40 days.

From there, I send the games direct to my shipping partner nearby the factory, and they begin packing the games to begin shipment across the globe.

Shipping normally takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks :)

I'll post an update as soon as we enter production.

Thanks again for backing, and I can't wait to get these into your hands!

Getting Closer To Production!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Aug 26, 2022 at 03:16:39 AM

G'day Tribe!

Thank you so much for the awesome feedback on our rulebook on the last update - I've been busy working on each little suggestion to make it the best it can be!

I've now finished this and have shot out the next version to our helpful editors.

The good news is I'm pretty close to finishing the print files for the rest of the game - all the art is completed, and well on track for our Feb shipping date :)

Next up is making sure all of the graphic design elements and text are complete.

I'll be able to share a little more the closer we get - but just wanted to let you know it's all looking great!

I'm now going through each stretch goal and making sure each of the changes are included - then once print files are ready (which can take some time due to the detail/complexities of lots of components) our factory can then begin production!

Thanks so much for joining and I can't wait to share this game with you!

See you soon,

Sam
